Well i did a search but found nothing that seemed to be what im on about...and i also dident know where else to post this so i thought it would be ok here ?
so heres the prob, i know PR is about teamwork and enjoying the game aswell as realism this is why im always in a squad and doing my part (well most of the time ) but its always nice to have something to aim for like a new rank or a badge etc...well i am a staff sgt but it still says in a corpral ? i get promoted as soon as i get my first point every round then say i leave and come back later or something im a corpral again, this has been like this for about 2 weeks now at first i thought it was just taking a while to update but its 2 weeks later and .... ? lol
again sorry if i posted this in the wrong place or something...but any help ?

This is something to do with ABR (Alternate Battlefield Ranking) I don't really know much about it. I have heard that you need to start some software prior to running PR for it to work on some servers? Not sure though but that might put you in the right direction.

Yeah I get this too, would be nice to sort it out.

Perhaps a post on exactly how ABR works would be in order....if there isn't already one.

um..i thought everyone in PR was a private

Maybe there shouldn't be rank, medals, awards and stuff at all. Or only awards aiming towards teamwork.

I personally can't stand playing on ranked PR server. All you see is people playing for points.

I've got my stat sig working. So that suggestion wasn't for me personally. However, I know there are some questions out there regarding ABR and how it works other than the stat sig itself.

I personally don't like the idea of playing for points either. It is directly counter to teamplay in many cases. For me, its something I don't even think about until I see my stat sig.

eh it displays my stats from like a year ago. and my old clan tag is still attached.
