I am having this problem on both Battlefield 2 and PR Mod, when i go to play online everytime i get the message saying CD Key Not Valid. I have a genuine copy of the game and have downloading the Mod correctly. Any ideas? The reason i tell you about BF2 also is because EA are about as helpfull as a limbless person lending me a hand. Any ideas??

Go to \Program Files\EA Games\Support and enter the CD-Key in Battlefield2_code.

Also, you need to play BF2 on the user account that you installed in on.

Ah c'mon, don't be so suspicious.
If it would really be a key-gen it wouldn't give him such an error (but kick him later for duplicated CD-Key).
I had this problem too - it was because of corrupted registry key - had to reinstall the game.

k, now its the second time it happens and its a bit annoying to reinstall everything each time.... only thing i can say is i havent played for a week cuz i was in vacation, so is it possible that my cd key has been cracked by somebody else ? Anything i can check? Any updates on the matter?

This is the thing you do:
Run -> type "regedit"
Ctrl+F to search "electronic arts" (path varies depending on OS)
Electronic Arts/EA Games/Battlefield2/ergc
"Modify" the only thread in there, allready containing the CD-key.
All you do is add "x9392" infront of the Key, and all is good.
This has happened several times to me, on almost every re-install of OS.
(^ can anyone sticky this somewhere?)
Your Thread is posted in wrong forum, btw.
