No, not those crappy floating things they gave us in Vanilla, I MEAN THE REAL DEAL!
Why cant we get some assault boats?! just make a suped up model of a boat and put some guns on it.

1. A lightly enforced boat, good for quick assaults, that has more then one gun emplacement.
2. A more heftier boat, good for heavy assaults, that carries 2 mg emplacement and a grenade launcher that could barrage targets.
3. a heavy boat, mainly good for transport, that can act as a spawn point and troop transport.

People that want to see naval battles, this is how it begins. If you give us better boats, the team will probably recieve user created naval-type maps.

just my idea, I would love to see this done.

Have searched, and never came up with a good topic about this.

In my opinion, time would be better spent working on other things. It isn't that easy to get someone to model the weapon, skin it and then export it into the game, then you have to tweak it, add the gun emplacements etc.

A better boat than the crappy rubber raft would be damn nice.

Maybe in a later version. Not many maps need boats at the moment.

Well at least something better then that rubber raft of ours.

I would love to see some Civilian Boats for insurgents, as the Current Boat for them is out of place.

PBR! EOD2 is making them and since their part of black sand studios PR i think can use the models, but PBRs are mainly used by special forces today.....

How about that hover/landing craft Dice never got around to putting in game? I remember i saw pics of the model floating around somewhere here.

They modeled it, but its not anywhere in the game, not even hidden in the code.

And it wouldn't work properly anyway, as viechles on viechles in BF = kaploshens.

However, on the subject of Hovercraft, getting these for the Brits would be awesome:

LCACs were great in Joint Ops, loaded up with Strykers and humvees.

And whoa thats pretty cool.. its like.. a mini-LCAC.
