Dogfights

Aight ladies, gents alike
this was brought up before i believe, but I just want to make things a little more clear with my issues and comments on the air portion of PR
I like the AA. Definately has precedence on the battlefield and it seems realistic in regards to how many ppl are shot down by AA IRL.
*however*
I'd like to be able to see the missle.
Like a big fat tower of smoke with a little spark on the end of it.
I was shot down today. I heard the alarm, deployed flares, looked back (didnt see anything) flew up into the clouds, nothing seemed to work. I switched to rear view and didn't see anything (alarm still goin) and a few secs. later my plane just blows up. I didn't see any missle nor a smoke trail.
and with fighting AG planes.
too many times, people have complained about a mig29 getting shot down by an a10. yes, they do indeed fly very slowly, but sadly, what they say is true. i saw it happen today.
I was also flying an f16 vs. a frogfoot. launched ALL of my missles into it. one of them hit. after that, I turned the radar off and went to guns. Nailed him right up the tail and once (or twice) on both wings. He was barely even smoking, and I was left with absolutely no ammo.
*adding to the above*
it actuallly would have been fine if I could actually SHOOT my guns. what happens is hte following
brrp, pssssssssssssssssssssssstttttttttttttttt. brrp, pssssssssssssssssssssssssssst. and then after about 10 of these intermittend "overheats", im out of ammo. what? come on. I don't know about IRL but it seems highly unlikely a pilot would only want to bring 100 rounds of ammunition into a dogfight, with a gun that shoots at over 2,000 rpm. INFANTRY carry more than that. And the "overheating" just pisses me off. I can barely squeeze off like 20 shots before i get the "pssssssssssssssst" sound for about 10 secs, while the slow as plane flies away.
to finish with the good though, i like the cloud cover on kashan, and everything looks rpetty realistic up there. planes flyin realistic speeds n such. looks good, just these issues myself and others have mentioned need a little fixin.
thx guys.
