Maps are too ping-pongy

EDIT Title-*To ping-pongy*
Maybe I'm alone on this but it seems like a great deal of the PR maps are very ping-pongy. As in, you have to jump to this west flag...then back to that east flag...then back again if one squad fails etc. I like the idea of having to defend and attack but its just to much IMO.
At times you have to defend 2 areas and attack one. Hell theres only 32 guys on a side...a few in armor, and few dicking at the base...a few in choppers. That leaves only a couple of squads that actually get the work done. I'm not jumping to extremes and saying its all bad....but I definitely find the less ping-pong maps WAY more enjoyable as they tend to have a more "battle" feel to them instead of 5 guys taking a whole location like they are spec ops or something.
Al jabal is a great map as long as the US has the dam...then its these amazing fights back and forth...where squads can actually work together. Even when bridge is taken City and Factory aren't miles apart so your teams are more cohesive.
I hope that we can gear maps to play more linearly instead of so spread out...the idea is great but it leaves the battles feeling less realistic and more spammy. I'm sure they would work better with 128 players but with only 64 everyone gets spread to thin and it doesn't feel real as much...and less tactics.
I'm sure I haven't explained myself enough so take this with a grain of salt, but understand the general thought.
