I havent seen to many topics on this and it was just somthing i wanted to see discussed more than an actual suggestion.
would a snow map be possible? ive always liked the thought of being able to fight during winter. I know this would prolly require new skins and stuff but again just somthing i wanted to see discussed and to see what every one else thought about the idea of snow warfare

I'd love a snow map, but like you said, creating all new skins would take a while.

They had a chinese vs. American snow map... that didnt work out too well...

But that had nothing to do with the snow, just the map. I think I heard somewhere that the snow will keep falling if you go inside buildings, and that's obviously not good...

Why not just have a map that's had snow but the snow's no longer falling otherwise you'll just end up with a white version of Desert Storm?

It could be done. There is room to alter textures and re-skin statics (however, vehicle, water, terrain, and weapons would not function the same).... Nonetheless, it would be unlikely that a "winter climate" within a map would provide any sort of meaningful fidelity level that is congruent to the PR mapping standard.

So, making a map may be somewhat possible, but not reasonable -IMO, only.
