Watched this video a while ago and it intrigued me , so much so I started playing PRM. Just came across it again...

Team Play VOIP Video

The majority of the BF2 and PRM videos are simply music videos (get real boring after a while) while this one emphasis's the communication and team play aspect of PRM.

Maybe PRM needs a promo video along this lines (with maybe some accompanying appropriate background music) emphasizing communications and team play while showing the capabilities of the game instead of just music playing in the background.

This kind of video is indeed good to show the game- and teamplay, but if you want to attract the masses, you have to bring up something shiny, loud and fast paced.

But we don't want the masses, that's why I agree with Beef.

The .7 promo should be loud, fast paced and shiny, but half or more of it should be community footage of their teamwork, because any old mod can make a choreographed movie and make it seem like there is lots of teamwork, but only PR can show it by including community movies.

Easily combine the 2.

Scenes with music..choppers attacking , transporting , unloading etc. Make it loud and brash but for gods sake..DO NOT USE RAP MUSIC..PLEASE!!! (RAP = north american slang for "god I wish I could sing".. )

Scenes with VOIP emphasizing team play would be squad , after disembarking , forming up , advancing and capturing the objective.

Don't need the extended running around scenes found in the mentioned video but some would be nice to show how the squad can move.

If we showed the teamwork in the promo video, most of the masses would still come, but the ones that know they would hate to be team oriented wouldn't.

Sounds like a good compromise, no?

The v.5 promo was good. Show a bit of teamwork would make it even better.

Rapping isn't an attempt at singing, it's more like poetry.
You think those heavymetal/punk Rock/"alternative songs don't get boring? Or those Linkin'Park songs?
