Not sure who to speak to about this

I'm interested in joining the PR team, and sent a PM to [R-DEV] JS.Fortnight.A regarding the possibility of it on August 3rd. He has yet to reply to me, and his profile shows that he has not been on the forums since that day. If someone could let me know who I can talk to about this and lock this thread, I would greatly appreciate it.

I map, and I would be willing to learn modeling, if necessary.

Well, you're probably not going to get on the DEV team just like that. I would suggest making a few maps, and showing them off in the community modding section. Then go from there.

Show off your work, and if good, it might get noticed. That's what I suggest. It's notoriosly hard to contact any of the DEVs through the PM system.

You should PM [R-DEV]Rhino, Lead Mapper.

I'm currently working on a desert/urban map pitting US forces against the Insurgents. While I could probably pump out 2 or 3 maps in the time it'll take me to work on this one, I'm really trying to make a high-quality map. Do you know who I can speak to about this?

Also - I'm not new to PR. I've been playing since the mini-mod days, so don't think I'm some sort of noob - I have browsed the forums occasionally over the past couple years, I've just never taken the time to make an account to post here.

Well in the time you posted, I edited my post to clarify.

And look at Gaz's post, you can contact Rhino if you want. You probably won't get a reply though.

Well that's not very helpful, then.

From what I know, you can pack it yourself. Just take a look at some maps that are already packed and then put your map's folders together in the same fashion.

Best thing to do if you don't hear a response from any of us is just start working on a mapping project and get PR community feedback.

Alright, I will do that. Feel free to lock the thread, I have all the information that I need.

The Devs must have it like when some celebrity gives out their phone number to the public.

I was tempted to do one of two things after reading this:

1.) post it in here so you could maybe remember and tell me that you werent really mad at me :) but with this idea, everyone would see and it might not work how I wanted... (im pretty sure you werent mad, but just annoyed and overwhelmed with .6 release stuffs)

or

2.) send you the PM you sent me :) but with this one, im afraid I'd get eated again.. :)

let me know if you want any follow up. Just know, no hard feelings :)

and p.s. I got the lightmaps working...
