Tested in SP mode.
Seems like some invisible glass is over the jug. You can stand on it and bullets don't penetrate through it.

looks to me that there is a dynamic barrle there, they have problems with turning invisible... if you trow a nade at it, it wont be there after that, then you need to work out where it went
