Is there a way to change the way an army's name shows up in game without having to make entire new army. For example I want to change the USMC to the US ARMY. (Not in PR, in my own mod). How can this be done?

Localisation files. mods\[modname]\Localization\english\english.utxt, for example. Open it in your favourite text editor. Look for HUD_TEXT_MENU_SPAWN_ARMY_USMC and change the USMC after it to US ARMY. You'll need to do it for all the languages if you want everyone to see it.

So I am in the process of making a mini mod. It's main focus so far is the US Army and the fictional Turkestan, a union of the Turkic nations (Turkey, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, etc.). It's coming along pretty well.
