Gun movement as the player moves

To me it seems when we are walking our guns (non-zoomed) hardly move at all. Kinda seems like you are gliding along. I think it'd be cool if we could see our gun change position in reaction to our soldiers movement. I noticed a little bit of this in this FH2 video and thought it was interesting. Not a big deal though, certainly not tied to gameplay.

dammit raniak you beat me to it
I'm sure you could just tone it down to get the FH like effect
satnav's post:
something alittle novel if your sick of the weapon on the right side all the time.
i'll use the USRIF_M203 as a example.
1. open the AnimationSystem1p.inc file in Objects_server.zip\Weapons\Handheld\USRIF_M203\
2. at the top you will see these lines
animationSystem.cameraSpring.amplitude 0.03/0.02/0.03
animationSystem.cameraSpring.zoomDamping 1/1/1
animationSystem.cameraSpring.stiffness 10/10/10
change them to.
animationSystem.cameraSpring.amplitude 0.4/0.02/0.03
animationSystem.cameraSpring.zoomDamping 0.1/1/1
animationSystem.cameraSpring.stiffness 0.01/10/10
the weapon will move from left to right of the screen when turning or you can use the left and right keys to move it as far as you want.
heres a video of it.

the FH2 is done quite well, thou satnavs is moving around far too much.

No offense to SatNav but that animation is a little overkill. When it moves to the left the character begins to shoot left handed. If it could look like Red Orchestras then it would be perfect.

You're right, first impression don't last long. The movements are to fast and the head, body and shoulders aren't simulating with the arms. Much slower movements if it's to gonna be near real.

tbh i think satnav did that to show that u can do it , if he only did a little people would be complaining that they cant see anything , hes just showing what the engine can do. i think.

Dunno, doesnt look like realistic movement, more like constant stance switching from each shoulder, right handed to left handed to right again.
Agree that it would be nice to see a very much toned-down version of this though.

x2 Toned down, the weapon shouldn't swing across the whole screen but be limited to the middle.

problem is weather on not the model's feature backfaces or not i know for a fact that the leopod on the m21 does not.

The bullets still come out of the middle of the screen I think... so it's only optical.
