They arnt adding that war. My map ideas here.

Map name - The town of Fada

The usmc starts out in the ocean with 1 aircraft carrer
The mec start in the town of fada in the back of them map

Object usmc has to take the town of fada by the end of the day.
mec has to defend it

Mec vehicles - 5 t-90s, 3 tunguska m1 - aa vehicles, and 3 Mig-29 fulcrum.

Usmc vehicles - 1 Ah-1z super cobre, 2 A10 thunderbolts, 2 transpot helicopters, 2 Rigid inflatable boat crib,

Ardy - No team gets ardy they both get mortars

Map description - Very urban town leading to the a beach only 2 flags.
One on the american aircraft carrier. The other in the back of the town of fada. To the east is a airfield for the mec with no flag just a spwan point. The west of the town if open flat grasses fields. Overall most of the map is ocean.

The usmc have to take the town by ground force. The aa will stop the helicopters from caping the flag. The tanks will stop the troops and then the thunderbolt kills the tanks

Yes, but you can't launch A-10s off of aircraft carriers. And 5 T90s along with 3 helos for the MEC is way too much

Here's another idea for an assualt on a uranium enrichment plant.

Weapon systems will vary depending on the mods primary time frame and/or what nations are involved.

Air assets: USAF/US Navy - 1 EW aircraft (EF-111 Raven, EA-6 Prowler, EA-18G Growler) Several strike aircraft (F-15E's, F-16C with LANTIRN pods, A-6E's, F/A-18's or F-111's) 1 for every two strike aircraft Escort/BARCAP aircraft (F-15's, F-16's or F-14's) MH-53 Pavelow and/or a MH-60 Pavehawk

OpFor - Dexent sized airbase near the edge of the map with a few observation helicopters like a gazelle or MD-500. Plus a small sized wing of fighter jets. (Depending on the timeframe it can be anything from F-14A's to Mig-21's, Mig-29's or Block 60 F-16's).

Ground assets: US gets a few DPV's, motorcycles and/or humvees

OpFor would have a lot of fixed and mobile SAM's and AA guns. This can be ZSU-23's, ZPU's, updated SA-2's to SA-10's. (depending on nations involved and timeframe again). Large military trucks and small transport vehicles.

The map can be completed by keeping the plant in tact or destroying it. Clusters of large search radars will be destroyable objects in the map. It'll degrade the OpFor's AA forces similar to how destroying the radome in the NFZ map kept SAM's from spawning in DC. It won't be necessary but running SEAD/SF missions against such facilities would make things easier.

If you want realism then you're more likely to face a lot of armour, if they use Russian doctorine. They over-run you in all aspects of warfare to win the day. And theoretically you could launch and land A-10's from carriers (have to be the big ones mind), but it'll be tight without an arrester hook on landing. It's very unlikely anyway, and F-18's would be used in the A-10 roll if they weren't available anyway.

I want a map on a scarred lunar surface, with this big aircraft carrier being beached in a big crater.

Its realistic in my world.

Yall should use Google Earth to get layouts of building in Bagdad and stuff. You can zoom in pretty far.

No 5 tanks really should be more like 10 but i put 5 becuase its a small map. The a-10s are made to take out tanks. With the new tank system i think 5 is really not enough.

Five tanks, three AA vehicles, and three Fulcrums leaves absolutely no place for infantry in the battle. Armor needs infantry support.

Actually that's an interesting concept. It's original I'll give you that! Less of these desert maps which is all I really see in most modern war games. I wonder if you can affect gravity on the maps? You could set it at 1/6 normal grav and hop along like astronauts on the apollo (wasn't he the god of the sun?) landings!

Yes it dose. Plus when your defending a beach head there isent that much infantry. The us would land boats after the a-10s take out the tanks. Then the tansport helicpoter would land out in the fields out side of the town. the flucroms woulds stop the a-10s and the aa vehicles would take out the transpot helicpoter.

U.S. Small Arms: M16A2s, M4s, SRAWs, M249

OpFor: Infantry, 2x BMP, 1 Mi-24 Hind

OpFor Small Arms: AK47s, AK74s, PKMs, RPKs, RPG-7s

Location: Somewhere in France

British forces obj: retake the town of *any french town*

Opfor obj: Push the Brits back where they came from

British vehicles:_____________ (don't know what's a good loadout)

Opfor vehicles: ______________ (same as above)

all flags cappable
Tickets count down when you have 1/2 of the flags

So there you go

KEEP IN MIND

BF2 vehicles spawn WAY faster than what we're used to in BF42 and BFV. I think that adds a lot to the feeling vehicles are too numerous. In 42, you got in a tank, and you died, that tank wouldn't respawn for a good 5 minutes maybe, meaning it was back to infantry for that crewman. In BF2, vehicles are likely to spawn faster than you do. I think it would be very respectable to have "large" numbers of vehicles on map, as long as their spawn-time was a lot longer. That way, early battles may revolve around vehicles and aircraft but after awhile, after those things start dying, infantry would come into play a heck of a lot more. I mean, look at 42 mods like FH and DC. FH moreso. Some maps had a dozen or two tanks on them but still managed to be mainly infantry, with tanks playing a large, but secondary role. I can't remember the name of the map, but there was that one massive map that had like 10 tanks/vehicles per side, plus 3 or 4 aircraft, all over the damned place, but it was still mainly infantry with large but secondary support from tanks, simply because they spawned very slowly.

Yup, would definetly be realistic!

Also, what is MEC? I'd like realistic conflicts like fighting Chechnyans, Iraqis or heck some Al-Kaeda troops in some underground Caves in Afghanistan, or Palestinian Hamas in some urban Izraeli enviroment.

What I'd like to say is maps+scenarios are cool but put some MEC in it and the overall feel would be downed for me.
