if this has been asked before im sorry
is it possible to have a sound play when someone has been killed, like instead of a kill message saying " you killed ??????? " it would play a sound that says " kill confirmed "
if it is to hard to do dont bother about it, it was only a suggestion.

No.
How would that be realistic?

I'm pretty sure he got this idea from the game "Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfare 2"
I remember watching a trailer of the game once, and you could say "Kill Confirmed" if you killed a guy.

Not realistic at all, thats the point of removing the kill mesages, it makes you more cautious to move cause the guy u thought u got my be still alive, like in real combat, you dont always know, thats the point that your not told if u killed him or not since the first few versions of pr.

Well, it would be really cool if there were more voices, such as that one or whatever else. Though it doesn't add much to the gameplay, as voip is much faster

well think about it,
I know when ive killed someone, so how about Tango Down, or Kill confirmed.
Any way whenever pubing with pros, (gloryhoundz) my squads tend to always be "Tango down;kill confirmed"
but then on many other server,
I do on ocasion get the uber 1337 sniper that has a crappy graphics card, going "does any one know if i killed that guy,or; yeah its safe i just took out 3 guys" only to be ambushed.

There's no need for it imo. The whole reason the DEVs are taking out unneccessary voices/text is so that you can hear squad mates and have a better view of their surroundings.

I Usually check my Score to know my Kills are Confirmed

They removed the kill message for a reason, do you think soldiers in real conflicts know when they've killed an enemy without looking for the body? Maybe the person you shot was injured...it all adds to the immersion.

I have a lot of voicies in my head, some of them tell me when I have killed people. Coudn't PR do this then, at least for me?

However worrying that is longbow, i still think adding your own particular mental h4x to the game would result in some very odd gameplay indeed....
Oh and to the thread starter, adding a vocal confirmation instead of a text confirmation would reduce the realism immensly. About the only situation where that might be realistic is if someone else had a better viewpoint than you and called it out. Still though, VOIP should be covering that angle rather than automated messages.

If I remember correctly, doesn't "tango" mean terrorist? I remember in the Rainbow Six series that they said tangos stand for terrorist. So how would killing a PLA soldier be a terrorist? Likewise for British, American, etc. Just kinda confusing because it doesn't make sense saying "tango down" when playing a conventional force vs conventional force.

Isn't it time to remove it from the stats to. You can easily keep track with your stats if you killed the person or not. Maybe a 3 minute delay or something before it gets up on the stats.

The SAS call the terrorists "X-Rays".

Makes sense. In Rainbow Six Vegas, Michael Walter, the British team member, says "X-Ray down" sometimes when he kills a terrorist.

One of the main differences between Operations that Rainbow Six engage in and the type of warfare we engage in in PR is this:
The work Rainbow 6 does is very precise and pre-planned most of the time and they are usually engaging targets in close combat where their baddies are only a few meters away. With the close precision work they do, first off, you're gonna know when your target is down because you can visually confirm it at those close ranges. Also, calling out "tango down" or whatever code is decided upon will help your team keep track of how many bad guys may or may not be left. Different tactics for different situations completely.

Not if you're a killing machine like me!
Maybe make it work similar to the kit limiting system? By that I mean you can only check your score at a location you can pick up a kit. Though I have no idea how that would work aside from that idea.
