Get X1950PRO, it runs PR maxxed at 1200x1000[something like that =P] with highest AA at about 50-60 fps, I'll get a screenshot later as I'm bussy for now.

Also a Nvidia 8800 GTS graphiccard will work with all settings on high and the drivers are better but thats not the thing.

[EtE]nickbond592 the Battlerecorder's standard graphicsettings are set to low forget the Battlerecorderscreens. Make it with fraps or another screenshot tool or do it with the windows standard screenshot program.

I read that there isn't that a big difference between medium and high in this game.

I run Medium and Low mixed, looks good, but not super-detailed like on bosco's pic
I prefer fps>looks

I run with everything on high (although recently I've noticed that my anti-aliasing hasn't been on) and it would seem that the anti-aliasing must make the difference, Cp20000s screenshot looks far better then it ever does on my computer.

AnRK, that screenshot isnt from my computer, well atleast I wish it was, its from boscos, I just "borrowed" it from the 0.6 screenshot thread.
I run everything on medium/high.

I went from a 19" monitor with everything on max, to a 20.1" LCD @ 1680x1050 with a mix of medium and high with 8xAF 2xAA to the same monitor with a 8800GTS with everything on high and 16xAF and 8xAA.
The end result is that the mix of medium and high settings looked almost exactly the same as the all high settings. The settings I found to make the most difference in this game to make it look nice were the anti-aliasing and anistropic filtering (as well as vysnc for my monitor). BF2 needs 2xAA as it is extremely jaggey especially around the sights. The difference between 2xAA and 8xAA isn't much in this game. I found that 8xAF really makes the terrain and buildings come alive, a lot less muddy looking. The 16xAF again isn't much of a big step up as going from 4xAF (in game setting for high AF) to 8xAF.
If you can run with a mix of high and medium with 2xAA and 8xAF you will be getting 95% out of this game IMO.

BF2 is just not a really pretty game so your not really missing out. I though I was hence the 8800GTS, which is nice for other games, didn't gain me much in BF2.

I heard "multisampling/supersampling" makes it even better too.

I've got a GeForce 7900 GT with everything on high, I forget what my AF and AA settings are at though, but it doesn't look good as Bosco's screenshot, but close.
