STOP!

Ok... i have a suggestion...

I normally don't give suggestion because I generally think "hey, if they design it... they did it for a reason.". But this has been bugging me ever since the "Jump out of a moving vehicle damage" started.

a "STOP" command in the "Q" menu.

When you enter a vehicle your "Need Medic" command turns into a "Need repairs command", so I was wondering if you could change the "Follow Me" or the "Need Backup" command into a "Stop" command.

I think this wold help the driver because sometimes "Negative, No, No, No, Negative" being spammed over and over doesn't seem to get the point of "Stop" across.

Just a suggestion!

sweetness...I like it alot. Definitely annoying for guys to bomb around in the APC and not let guys out....though I've seen less and less of this. Bell ring ftw. Happy to take ideas from other mods....for there is wisdom in the counsel of many.

Sometime bombing around in the APC is part of PSM ( proper smacktard management ) in that you want to deliver a full load of troops to where the fight is and not where they can start their mostly futile lone-wolf stalking attempts.

But I agree that a " STOP" command is needed and " need backup " is mostly a pointless command anyway, useful mostly for giving your position away to the enemy.

Cool, it'll be like going to work on a london bus, only the bus is covered in armour plating and carrying a 25mm cannon!

Agreed, a STOP or HALT or PULL OVER MUM, I NEED A WEE! comrose option would be a good 'un.

It'd be worth the effort though.

I don't agree with the PSM initiative though. I see what your getting at, but as a responsible squad leader I hate it when I'm put in the middle of wherever every other $£%^ is. Seems like half the time I play mine is the only squad either flanking or defending.

On the subject of quick commands is there anyway of making it so you only have to press 1 button to issue a move marker? That'd be awesome.

You could just go for the lazy way, and say stop in a recording file with a British, Russian, American, ect. ect. accent.

Exactly.

Voices for every faction is a lot of work for not much of an advantage.

I've never played Dcon but a ''bell'' conjurs up images of a bus and would feel rather stupid bombing through enemy territory constantly on the look out for RPG ambushes, only to hear a silly little bell. Although that being said remember i haven't played it :-)

But a buzzer or Flashing light on the drivers screen would be an excellent idea.

Dont they have a light or buzzer that goes off IRL if someone wants out? I thought I read that somewhere....

Hahahahahahahahaha....................

Now that is the funniest thing I've heard all day. You don't get out of a track vehicle until the squad leader or above tells you to. It's not a taxi. If you gotta pee, to bad.

Can't say that I remember a light or a buzzer for the driver to know that you want out. The vehicle crew has comms anyway, so they can talk to each other.

I like the idea of a bell or a similar sound, saves the time of having to do a bunch of new voice commands for each faction. Though, from what I understand there are alot of unused files that DICE created and never used for the game, yet they still exist in the Program Files. And from what I remember, there are alot of unused commo rose commands and statements in there. Perhaps there's a stop command in there?

Lol rico...you sob. I know some of these armored transports have some thing the press and it buzzes the driver. Maybe thats just the intercom or something.

Thanks for selling me down the river!

maybe instead of someone just saying stop, it can be mchammer saying "stop... hammer time" and play a clip of the song.
