i realy think that ops needs suppressors on rifles and side arms. i dont know about you but thay need somthing to help them out after all thay are set up mostly for CQB and lack the rang of other kits and also lack body armmor.

but thats just me

Personally i think it would hilarious if the spec ops gun were turned in to water pistol...

Alot of people have mentioned this before but before anyone abducts/tortures/kills you, they're not in because the developers don't want people thinking their in the SAS or Delta force or something, because it's not in keeping with how they want the game to be played.

I agree with the water pistol suggestion though, mebbe PM the developers about it... :P

They're "set up" to aviod direct combat. Thats not their role and they shouldn't be used as such. Their job is to go behind enemy lines and blow stuff up/provide intel. The Carbine is there only for self defense.

You want to fight, grab another kit. You want to avoid the enemy, destroy his assets and only discharge your weapon when there are no other options, go SF.

In short, no. In my opinion anyway.

but the cool thing is that that ads are key worded so now I can surf sites that sell suppressors.
What about a silenced revolver ?

Interesting because one of the threads I was just looking threw had an add for Phillipean dating service, which is more likely to be added to PR then supressors for Spec Ops.

Unfortunately the slams suck balls so the sf is essentially worthless at this point other than in cqb

SF sucks in CQB, youll need to hit that mec rifleman atleast 5 times before he hits you once...

not water pistols? how about suction dart guns?

Suppressors have been used in Iraq with great success, according to Surefire.

1.We'd have to model suppressors for all factions

2.Specops will be limited in 0.7

I hope for crappy weapons and large amounts of explosives, so that its used for sabotage and not 1337 CQB instaproning

In what way is that realistic?

Id like to see a well equipped fighting arm which would allow a squad of such "elites" to act as force multipliers, coupling the fact that special forces are better trained and equipped but because they have the coolest gear and the shiniest shoes.

IMO spec ops should be for all your explosive needs and not a lone wolfs wet dream.
