Spec Ops needs makeover

Now I ain't gona say that they need more powerful weapons cos we all know that theyre not for direct combat, but I think that many improvements should be added to the spec ops class in a non-firepower way, such as other equipment. ESPECIALLY if they are going to become a limited kit, which I heard they are. I know it will take a long time to plan and create these changes, but I'm just gona throw all my ideas on a list for improvements to the spec ops because just now not so many people choose the kit and it was my fave kit in bf2 but since playing PR I go rifleman.
1.Chaff Grenades, for jamming enemy radars (I suggested this in reply to another guys post)
2.Infrared Goggles (I know it's been suggested but I think it would balance the spec ops out if they exclusively had IR goggles)
3.Laser tripwires (I'm not talking anti personel mines, I mean a little laser you set up that triggers a sound in your headphones and nobody elses, when anything breaks the laserbeam.)
4.Changable clothes or camoflauge: I think there should be a way to maybe, for example, change into a darker suit for sneaking into darker places like underground or into dark buildings. Obviously you would have to find a safe spot and the process of changing would take literally a minute or two. Also, I think it would be amazing that if you managed to stealthily kill someone, to go to theyre body and instead or stealing their kit you could steal their clothes. I know the name wouldn't appear in blue on the enemies screen but if the enamy is hurrying they might not notice. Also the face would have to be different.
5.Sabotage - be able to walk up to an empty enemy vehicle and use an item or skill to partially damage the vehicle, or for example set a carbomb, bug(to make the vehicle show on friendly radar at all times), ignition-detonated tear gas canister, or other disadvantaging device, which may only be removed if an engineer finds it. This would be a very cool skill but the process would have to take a long time to be fair. So you need a good amount of time standing beside the vehicle for the sabotage to be carried out.
6.Ability to jump over higher walls - perhaps only when the knife is equipped, as a big weapon would get in the way, the spec ops could be able to jump and grab on to the top of a wall and heave themselves up, much like tombraider and MGS.
7.Quieter footsteps - more stealth! Especially when crouching. I can't remember if moving whilst prone makes any sound, but if it does, maybe that should be quieter as well.
8.Tag-Team - When two Specops team up, one could give another a footy-up to get over/on top of much higher walls, and then the other could reach down and give the other a hand up, all in a quiet, consistent and smooth fashion.
Well thats all I can think of for improving the spec ops. I duno whats hardcoded, and I've tried to do as much research as possible as to whats realistic and not. But I'm just throwing it out there really, for distant-future releases if anything.

But.....that's the idea.....
Also, 6 and 8 are definitely not possible.

This is not "Project Special Forces"...why put so much work in one class? (that should be a limited kit anyway imho). I don't think any of that is necessary... and some of it not even possible...

Actually...the bug thing might be cool. Sadly enough, this is not James Bond but PR, so I'm doubtful.

1. Any evidence to support your claim that special forces use chaff grenades?
2. Any evidence to support your claim that special forces have access to IR goggles.
3. so a claymore but without the boom?
4. Isnt that off Metal Gear Solid 3?
5. Vehicles tend to move, standing next to them for a long amount of time can be harmful to your health.
6. You are joking?
7. I can see that as a possibility, but wouldnt all that kit that the spec ops guy carries make enough noise on its own?
8. Taken from Splinter Cell, probably the most innacurate game ever. Also dont think the engine can do it.

2 is harcoded, there is no way for the BF2 engine to allow people to emit heat as they would in rea life.

Yeah... the suggestions proposed in this thread make the Spec Ops more like some sort of super ultra intelligence agent or something.
IMO, instead of decking out the Spec Ops class with a bunch of fancy weapons and tools, give the Spec Ops kit an actual function on the battlefield. These guys aren't meant for fighting on the front lines, they should be behind enemy lines gathering intel, or conducting sabatoge. I like to fall back on a suggestion of mines I made several weeks back, which talks about CP territories and the potential feature of "
Intel Gathering", something I think the Spec Ops kit would be suited for.

I would like to see 1-2 Spec Ops kits available from support truck. With tools for intel gathering and conducting sabotages. They should be the commanders assets.

Spec Ops Kit will be limited in v.7, or at least that's what I heard. We'll see what their equipment layout will be considering that they will be limited.

Probably explosives and a pair of binos, coupled with a spud gun or something like that.

1.no
2.no, but as i said i'm just throwing the ideas out there
3.yes
4.yes
5.I mean sabotage the vehicle before the enemy gets near it
6.no
7.not if it is stored well enough
8.That doesn't mean the idea is unrealistic. Also I've never played splinter cell.
To Terranova: I like your idea.
To SethLive: Rofl.

2. nothing "near future" is in the game.
3. What would be the point in that?
4. I thought so, a man with 50 different uniforms in his butt pack is not realistic.
5. Ahhh, didnt read that one properly, my bad mate.
6. I would have liked you to say yes

7. You do realise that walking quietly is not something that only special forces can do in the real world, dont you?
8. Why would special forces be the only ones to be able to do this?

Some things Id like to see done with SF.
1. Limit ammo, they dont fight the front lines, why do they have 9 mags. limit it to 5.
2. Slams are good and all but not stealthy weapon. Maybe something like an anti-vehicle mine. When someone enters the vehicle it is placed on it explodes.
3. Since they'll be limited, give them the soflam back. Good for spotting, and behind the lines airstrikes when the soflam works like it should.
4. Maybe a silenced sidearm. When you absolutly need to take a shot but not get detected. 2 mags, so its not overused.

I just don't get why so many asks for X scopes. Spec Ops are not in the battlefield for killing masses. They are there for small operations.

I think you should just keep waiting for the next Metal Gear, Rob. None of this is going to be in PR.

Why is nearly every single idea on this forum shot down immediatly. Some of those ideas are good Ideas, but you guys just shoot them down like they are nothing.
This "Elitist" attitude is starting to piss me off, get over yourselves and be nice to newcomers and suggestors
