give insurgent class 1 IED

problem #1: too many war vets in insurgent maps
problem #2: not enough IEDs being used by the insurgent faction
Solution: why not give the insurgent class an IED to solve both these problems?

That's a damn good idea!
I don't think it would make the ambusher useless, because they would still have 2 IEDs and the proximity IEDs aswell.

Yep, they had it in v.5... now they have ammo bags which can give them MORE IEDs.

Well, insurgents already have 3 ammo bags. So, insurgent + 2 molotovs + 3 ammo bags + 1 IED...? =/. Insurgents would just keep throwing down ammo bags and get more IEDs. That would be too spammy...

Oh another thing about these IEDs, are you gona do one that can be Demolished via Cellphone.. since those exist in RL, would be the Insurgent version of the C4.

its in the works thou low peroity stuff as it dose not effect game play (which bare in mind is our main goal when deciding on stuff that needs to be done and not)

a simpler solution would be to swap the shotgun for a (t)rusty AK.
it would be nice if they swapped the IED to a proximity fuse instead of remote detonation aswell (main reason being most vehicles are out fitted to jam signals) in place of the mines, maybe with a rock as a place holder image

well, if i had 2 ieds in the back i doubt i would be carrying any weapon, i would sudjest giving them a lightweight weapon or a Pistol

i played with the mines (IED's) a bit, but the proximity range is still kinda small (for small vehicle atleast)

Nations @ war mod have good placeholders for IEDs, mybe PR could use them
IED= some sort of explosive with a mobile phone attached
detonator= mobile phone (makes button noises when pressed to detonate)
as for ambusher weapon, AKS old-style, with iron sights

ehhh no. 1, thats not a place holder for N@W and 2, I would rather use the C4 model any day.
