This happend already in v0.5 (minor frequent) but happens far more in v0.6. When ammo bags or field dresings are trown on a floor it dissapears. In fact it goes through the floor. This can clearly be seen in bunkers with several levels. If you get down the ladder you will see your bag or dressing laying on L-1 floor.

Work arround: don't drop the bag or dressing directly on the floor but on walls (or other objects like chairs, etc). It will bounce to floor and will stay there.

Happens on vBF2 statics as well..
Ever had to heal yourself as SL only to have all 3 field dresings fall through the building?

Actually Katiewolf (no longer resident on these fora) posted a fairly similar suggestion over at the totalbf2 site a while ago. She had got as far as mocking up the writing for the PLA and MEC versions. I know some devs had posted in that thread. You never know, that suggestion might already be in the process of implementation.

I have only noticed this bug in both East and West tower of Assault on Mestia. If you go to the top floor of the main tower and drop an ammo bag or field dressings, it falls right through the floor.

I just thought I would throw that out there

solution: wait until the ammo/field dressing has 'settled' (stopped moving) before walking on it.

If you walk all over it, it will fall thru the floor.

i always look up before throwing them as they heal and restock me as the pass through my body and tend not to fall through the floor.

but this tip is off the same guy that lies on land mines so people run over me

Similar thing happens to mines laid on bridges, if you pop a few rounds in them, they fall through the bridge.
