Compass issue

My issue is the compass at the bottom of the screen. I have found it extremely useful for communications between the gunner and commander of a tank (or any other crew of a vehicle) to get both looking at the same target. The problem is that for the gunner, when he zooms in the compass is over the image of the sights and nearly impossible to see in light colored terrain, forcing the gunner to zoom back out to read it. The commander does not have this problem, his compass stays on the dark edge of the TV screen.

If that's the case, tell the gunner to turn on the rotational minimap in the gameplay options. Once it's on, the minimap in the top right corner will have another working compass for him to use.

The font used on the compass could do with being more vibrant, possibly in red.
Other than that it's one of my favourite, most useful additions to the game.

youm0nt, I find the rotating mini map to be very disorienting the few times I've tried it. Additionally, and more importantly, there are not the same tick marks as the bottom compass, which are vital in long range targeting. If you're trying to get the gunner to zap a sniper or HAT team at 800yards you need to use the quarter tick marks to get him on target.

Eggenberg, I agree completely, I was thinking maybe a medium brightness red or purple (I found in vanilla setting the X-hairs to purple was the most visible).

I wonder if there's some way to allow us to use the X-hair color picker for this since its no longer being used by anything else?
