I think, in addition to the changes being made, the m16 could be looked at? Some people said its recoil is WAY too high, when in real life it's much less. It's true though, the m16 recoil in-game is way more than the AKs.

But, you have to take into account some balance issues. If the M16 is more L33T than the other rifleman rifles everyone will want to be USMC. No fun.

On the contrary, I play as the USMC because its so unfair towards them and they almost never win infantry maps, especially against MEC. Once the M-16 is fixed sure it might actually be sort of a challenge using the MEC or China.

Secondly, which M16 are you talking about the one with ACOG or the normal one?

The ACOG's recoil is more noticable because of the ACOG itself.

Thirdly, too much recoil for who? A muscle soldier or a pre pubescent teen?

ak's and other guns should have MORE recoil. the m16's is aight.
i mean, go out and shoot any rifle (even a handgun) and you'll see they need more recoil.

I REALLY think the pistols should have more recoil. Right now the thing pops up and goes back down like bf2. it needs to go up like 20 degrees, so you recenter it. you're only supposed to use a pistol for engagements under 40 meters for self defense, anyway.

the m16 with the zoomed iron sights kicks nearly as much as the g3 does. It is insane to think they are comparable in that manor even with the actual ACOG the m16 still will not compete with the g3. The g3 hits you with one good shot your gone(blurry then death). the m16 takes several shots to get some one to that critical point in witch your vision becomes blurry. With these differences it becomes apparent that the m16 even with an acog is an inferior weapon. So there are three options either lower the recoil on the m16 or increase the recoil on the g3 or start playing with the power.

Good lord this topic has been talked about to death...other posts have FAR more info than ramblings of people.

M16 4.ft/1bs recoil
AK 7ft/lbs recoil
G3 15ft/lbs recoil

The recoil is off...its not modeled perfectly yet and the dev are completely aware of this.

shot a few the other day- glock 19 and a m1911a1. went through three boxes of 9mm. and i shot a 5 inch group at 20 yrds with the 1911.
I've shot M60's, M16s, AK's, M249s, , .45 ACP M1911, etc.

If the amis have air guns then must fix the recoil, this is the best way if the dev´s will not fix the m16. At the moment has the m16 the same recoil we the g3, and this is not okay. If air gun for US then low recoil.

The QBZ is how I think the M16 should be like, the QBZ is more controllable scoped or unscoped firing bursts.

hmm its 3 am and im about to pass out in my chair so im jus gonna say a few things. ive shot miniguns browning m2s 50 cal sniper rifles m249s m16's you name it ive prolly shotten it. lol and i can rapid fire a M9 pistol and hit the middle o the target 9/10 times at 50 yards. i dont know if im just good or what but its not that hard to control weapons. btw im only 16!

All I can say is if you honestly feel 9mm produces high recoil. Perhaps you were shooting under influence without knowing?

I'm not a seasoned shooter, nor am I a buff guy. But I can easily produce tight grouping in rapid succession with 9mm. Coming form a person who rarly touches firearms, let alone shooting it at the range. That's saying a lot.

I have an M9 Beretta airsoft gun, so i understand it better than all of you.

I own a 9mm luger and it seems to me that this pistol kick up in this is about right.

but to the guy who can hit a target in the middle at 50 yards rapid fire I call BS! BS!!!!!! post video and ill believe it if not i dont for a second.
I guess it depends on what size grouping the "middle" is.
