map and kit ideas

I hope this is the right section if not feel free to move it.

My map idea is something like this: Two dug-in bases on each side of a really battle-worn map. Each base has a small trench network to connect it to the front lines and between them is a barren expanse with a few fallen trees and vehicle wrecks to provide cover and the occasional artillery shell landing randomly (possible?) to provide a unique feel and a bit of randomness. Also maybe make it where one side is more well dug in and the other looks more hastily constructed.
I don't know if that sounds like a good idea or not but i just wanted to put it out there.
My kit idea is something like a saboteur. A very limited kit with abilities like demolition, setting car bombs, (so they explode when someone gets in) and maybe using thermite grenades (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermite scroll down to "military uses") to sabotage arty so it explodes when fired if it isn't noticed and fixed in time in the hopes of conserving ammo causing a bit of damage and being stealthy. maybe could be used in place of the spec ops kit just give it a silenced pistol or similar to promote stealth.
those are my thoughts i searched the forums and didn't find those ideas. tell me what you think :)

i dont like the trenches and arty shit
but thats just me, i think saboteur is suggested before ?

Sounds like another Operation Compton. A great map, if it were for a WW2 mod. Full scale trench warfare just doesn't make sense in modern combat.

If you give them a silencer, to promote stealth over engagement, why would you need the silencer? 0_0
