ok... um, what? some words might help explain things.

When you look at a mountain, do you normally see the sun THROUGH that mountain? Not talking about a "bloom" effect around the ridge, I'm speaking "through" the mountain...

I thought seeing the glow off the sun through the mountain was pretty damn self explanatory though.

The sun doesn't shine through static buildings like that... Would it be possible to put a static large inside the mountain geometry to fix that?

it does go through some statics

and doing something like that would be a lot of work for little pay out (and probably wouldn't work)

Perhaps you're right but it's still "Low Hanging Fruit" for me... Especially for a mod priding itself on realism...

yeah, it's one of those annoying bugs that will never go away unless DICE does something about it
