Hello, i am very new to Project Reality and I am having a few problems with getting in a server here is what i did hopefully some spots my problem

*Wanted somthing more then BF2 so did a google search for BF2 mods

*Went to this site and i read up on what is going on and thought this was for me

*Went tot he Files part of the website and read there at the bottom i clicked Download Now

*Downloaded it and got it running on my computer nicely

*Jumped in the game, everthign runing clean and smooth

*clicked mulitplayer

*... no servers...

*apllied the fliter non ranked and same mod and same version

*... still no servers

*so i thought what if i dont have the right version

*clicked same version

*hey what do you know servers and there the maps of the mod

*got off the game and came back to site

*cant find updater

*came to forums and here i am

(not tryign to be sacrastic just trying to get some help)
any ideas?

the current version is 0.609, thats what you have?

That should be the correct version. You said you did see servers and maps listed after selecting same version, did you try to join a game? What is the problem exactly?

Edit: Nevermind...

it could be your internet conection cause it happenes to me too. but after a few trys it gives me around 140 servers full and empty. then i choose the number of players and it gives me around 10-15 good servers full of players.

Alpha when i click to turn it off as in Not Same Version. and S.P.C i have cable one and i have been trying and trying for a few days now so i dont think its a connection problem

Are you patched to 1.41 for vanilla BF ?

forward ports for BF2

yes i have 1.41 for BF (not sure if Vannila is a type of patch im not sure i got that, sorry newbie here lol) and what do you mean foward ports?

Forward the ports means opening certain pathways through your firewall, sometimes you have to do this on hardware like routers as well.

This mod is great but you need a clon to eat, drink, go to work, do sports, excersise, go out, make love, watch films etc. cause the games last way to long and it becomes an addiction real fast. So be ware!
