What would you do if you were out in the open with minimal cover?
1 :d rop to prone and return fire
2:crouch return fire and get to cover asap
3:keep standing and return fire while running for the nearest building

note:this is to satiate my curiosity and if it is in the wrong section or it is otherwise unnecessary feel free to move or delete it

I would get against the nearest wall or anything that can cover my back, and if its a wall i can get behind then I'll get behind that and throw a few grenades. switch my rifle to semi auto then i would throw a flash bang, then lastly i would run to find more suitable cover.


But then again this is PR and its all about teamwork so you should never be in that predicament by yourself, unless your an uber 1337 sniperz

You would do what your training had taught you to do, normally return fire followed by squad and/or section movement toward cover. Engaging or disengaging from the enemy would be down to command at the time.

Crouch, get the enemies head down and than bug out.

I would go prone. If im in the open it would be unrealistic to do anything but drop to my belly anyway.

I would probably mess my self then run like a little girl for cover.

Assuming there is no squad because for x or y reason we got seperated etc etc...

Crouch with suppressing fire dart a few meters towards cover while keeping erratic movement and light suppressive fire.

if there was enough cover to keep me safe while I'm prone then I'd go prone.
If not then I'd try to run to the nearest cover.

you mean IRL or in PR??

in PR is almost always go prone and shoot

I run and if I shoot back, its always full auto STANDING...

insta-prone followed by insta-shooting all of them in the eye.
faster then my own shadow, the leet way.

Full auto or burst mode to return fire and get in cover as fast as possible. If i have better chances to survive by hiding behind anything (crouched or proned) i would use it. In any other case: return fire so they take the heads down for a moment and...RUN FOR YOUR LIFE...and for cover.

Depending on the situation. Usually I'd go prone, through grenade or smoke, get up and run, prone again and shoot, get up and run and so on...

If it was rifle or automatic fire i'd straight away go prone and assess. Could i take him out before he could me; would i make it to the nearest sustainable cover(basically not a corrugated iron fence or a red brick wall, as a few rounds and im dying from shrapnel from my own cover); elevation etc...

Sniper fire, i'd leg it like theres no tomorrow, attempting the poor suppressive fire that firing from the hip allows, because if you don't there wont be one.
