Weak rig, gameplay question...

Hi,
My rig is quite weak, but I can handle mid settings pretty much across the board. However, What setting determines how far away the kits are drawn at high detail? Because at long range, they are low detail, and it can be hard to identify the enemy without consulting the map - I've panic TK'd a few more times than I'd like, and also die a few times as Ive hesitated before shooting (to see if the name tag pops up)
Help would be appreciated!
Thanks

Even when you can see long range, you still kill your own guys

use spotting, chat, voip and the radar/map to identify your own guys.
Or you could realise that maybe your machine is better for CQB fighting as that's where you have the easiest time identifying targets correctly, change username to something other than the other 20,000 sniper wannabees out there fighting over the limited one sniper rifle per 16 people on your team and simply get involved in the fun of capping flags with the other weapons on offer!

Sniper, the only setting that really matters is the draw distance, which should always be kept at 100%. There are lots of people running around with $5000 Alienware rigs who TK like they've got their "I'm A Noob" setting at 10.
The key is "situational awareness," that is know whats going on around you at all times. Reference you mini map, use the big map, when in doubt don't shoot. Keep you minimap zoomed out as far as possible. QSpot the target and look to see if there's a red dot, blue dot, or a questionmark there.

Yeah, it really doesn't matter what sort of system you have, the vanilla coding making uniforms seem to change to the enemy uniforms over long distamnce are just a zaney handicap on us all.
