Death animation thinggy (or w/e)

Right now it looks really stupid when you fly tru the air while your body twists in any possible way after a headshot. Sometimes i fly so high up in the air, that i use around 5 sec to fall down. So my suggestion would be to somehow set the revive timer to 1-3 sec after a headshot so you cant get revived but wont fly in a weird kinda way.

Is it possible to set the revive timer to 1-3 sec after a headshot?

We'll actually be experimenting with the ragdoll physics a bit I think, don't hold me to it. I know what you mean, it looks really stupid at the moment.

too bad there isn't any combination of animation + ragdoll. I'd love to see a death "animation" for getting shot in the neck where the players hands bind to their throat as the rest of their body goes ragdoll and falls down, then maybe after a couple seconds their hands unbind from their neck simulating loss of all strength. *shrug* I can dream can't I? ;P

they are trully stupid, but like the DICE Devs said, it is the only funny reward you get from killing someone :D

Sometimes they screw up, I remember one time i got shot by a Sniper and whent miles in the air.

when u get shot in the head by a sniper and flying onto the sky, thats clientside only, to everybody else, ur body either jsut flopped or ur body got thrown back a metre or to by the power of the bullet, its onlywith explosives that its serverside and everyone can see it.

(flashback to vanilla patch 1.1 and 1.2 arillery, you were usually off the map :D )

Ohh but if you fix the ragdoll people won't go kung-fu on your *** when you shoot them anymore :(

i think it's been said that things like that aren't possible (just like finishing off someone so they can't be revived)

its purpasley put in by DICE so at least you get some plesure after killing or when getting killed.
