According to this site, the harrier was ingame and operational on December 23, 2005. Did it get left out of the releases following due to technical issues, no solid map to put it on, or something else? I am really curious as to why this beauty didn't make it into any releases.

I've flown the harrier on proving grounds, and it is clearly not finished. It lacks a HUD, the weapons don't work properly, and it is plagued with numerous bugs.

Mind you those pictures of it look pretty good, but the one I flew looked like, ummm... ****?

Yeah thats what wondered me since i downloaded pr, i know there is a unfinished harriere in the mod, you can find in the archives but of what i know is the stearing not well done on it right now or something!?
Lets hope we see this baby anytime soon..

dondt the uksf use the diemaco in pr already? i am not sure it looks like it, normaly just the canadian army use the diemaco which is a replica of the m4a1 of what i know!?
And maybe i am wrong but dondt the sniperkit have the browning hipo already in it?

That pistol is in game already? Doesn't the British Pilot kit get that handgun?

Browning HP is used by British Officer, Pilot, Heavy AT and Sniper.
Diemaco SFW probably by British Spec Op.

Harrier will turn up at some point. Currently there aren't any maps that we'd want to put it on, anyway.

Is that current maps, or maps that are currently in the works (such as Quinling)?

I thought 0.7 was supposed to be the RAF's jet debut and the PLAAF's return to the relm of fixed wing air support...

Current maps = maps in 0.6.

We pretty much can't use anything made by samonius or anything posted before 2006. Except the harrier.

I think the plan is to remake the harrier, its buggy as hell....

I'll take your word on it, thou I heard stigger was planning on redoing it but have to see whats going on in eggs head when he gets back

models can look nice but at the same time they may not be in any state to go into a game engine without alot of work. Stigger has had to spend more time on fixing other peoples models up to get them into a state to get them ingame than making his own
