i thought about this and wasn't sure if it was hardcoded or not.
i also don't know if it will work properly if ever implemented, BUT

heres the idea. a man gets shot and goes down. the medic usually goes out to revive him but half the time gets shot as well.

would it be possible to whip out the knife or something and "attach" it to the body so you can drag it behind cover and revive them there?

Yep dragging your friends to safety is not possible within BF2 as well its hardcoded

god bf2 engine sucks
