I love the new sounds for the gunner on top of the HMMWV, and the new M16? sounds for the assault and spec ops.

Also loving the idle sound for the APC. Don't know if this was added, or fixed, but it sounds like it should now...

However, I dislike the TOW sounds on the APC. Sounds like a toilet being flushed.

I am such an audiophile its not even funny. Sound is what makes any game immersible and enjoyable. There actually have been studies to prove that players would play better if the sound of a particular weapon was real to life. Now I just have to find that study for proof ??:


So my suggetions would be:
1) Please change back the TOW
2) change the side gunner sounds on the APC to something more realistic
3) PLEEASE change the silenced USP? M9? weapon on spec ops and sniper
(honestly it sounds like a paintball)
4) get rid of the gear shifting sounds in the HMMWV (its a 3 speed auto)

Thats about it for now.

8/10 is my score for this revision. My goodness, can't even imagine what a full release is going to bring.

The new sounds are so awesome. They alone make PRMM twice as good.

Anyway, just do away with the "side gunners" on the APCs, because they don't actually exist. And things that don't exist don't make noise, do they?

I did the sounds for this release.

That TOW sound is realistic.

Or do they? If a tree fell in forest and no one was there to hear it would it still make a sound?

I love the new sounds and I also like the new TOW sound! Really adds to the mod.

I think the new TOW sound is better than the old one. Could use a tiny bit of tweaking, but much better. I think DCR had a pretty sweet TOW sound as well
