Just thought I would introduce myself.
New to online gaming and been playing BF2 for last couple of months. As an ex-soldier (RAF Regiment), bit fed up with headless chickens running around doing their own thing etc...sure you know what I mean. I was already for jacking it in till one of the guys from =BBUK= One of the better run servers that I have come across, (am I allowed to mention other clans?) pointed me in this direction, citing mods, PoE, teamplay etc..
Had a quick recce around the maps but not really got involved in any online game play yet...
One quick observation regarding the SA80. The animations regarding the cocking action is all wrong. The rifle is always held in the right hand and to **** the weapon, the left hand is bought over the top of the weapon to grasp the cocking handle on the right hand side.
Are there any plans to make this more realistic?
Also the knife/bayonet that Bristish troops have are inscribed with USMC near the handle.
Not picking faults, guys...just making observations.

ye we know about the SA80 cocking animtaion, its from vBF2 made by DiCE and its more or less a place holder till we make a new one, but we have more, high priority animation work to do aswell

as for the SA80 Bayonet its WIP at the mo, the USMC knife is just there as a place holder for the moment

I promise you will love the mod if you invest 5 minutes of your time in reading the guide (GUIDE section above) and THEN jump in.

You're always welcome on Thors Brigade servers, but I can also highly recommend iGi (UK).

yeah if you look in the news section a few of us got to got to Bovington and handle the sa80 and even practice loading and reloading a SA80.

so im pretty sure its on the todo list
