PR and other game engines

I've got a couple of questions for the Devs. Just a couple of thoughts that's been floating around insinde my intoxicated brain this Friday evening.

I'm not sure what you can do with the BF2 engine, but reading stuff like fastroping will not be available due to the engine can't support it makes me wonder, how far can you push the BF2 engine for your goals? There are other games out there that got more advanced engines and more or less better support for modding (as I've understand).

So how far do you think you can push PR on the BF2 platform before out growing it? I assume that the dev team got loads of ideas of what they want to add to the mod, but are you starting to feel limited? Are you staying on the BF2 platform forever? Is a migration to another game engine a possibility at all?

That's all. Peace.

One of the key problems with the new engines is the lack of high number of players in multiplayer games. Less than 64 is really a turn-off. More would be nice.

ye, fast roping is a very bad example of the benefits of moving to another engine as even if we did manage to do it as for a start, no one would ever use it ingame cos really, how effective is it going to be? hardly at all. They use it in real life as chopper blades dont go though buildings like they do on bf2, and ehhh whats easier and safer, landing in a street, or hovering above a street in full view of every one on the ground waiting for every one to slide down a rope?

we are not going to be moving from BF2 any time soon, case closed.
