This is a suggestion for somethin really cool which they should add in the next patch. most people should be aware that when you hold the right mouse button in a humvee then a cool radio transmission starts.. it can be heard by people in and around the vehicle. i reckon that certain vehicles like scout helos and APCs, tanks etc should have a loudspeaker function. the driver can hold a button which activates his Voip but over a loud speaker eminating from the vehicle.
imagine: your driving thru the streets of Al Basrah taking small arms fire from insurgents..then you hear the booming voice coming from the APC " Surrender citizens, or we will return fire "...or in most cases it would be a 10 year old sayin " OI you noobs you cant damage me with ur sh*tty ak's hahaahahha" but it would still be pretty sweet eh.
Would like some feed back, i reckon its a sweet idea. might be quite difficult to do tho, and as always. im sure some of u will have a reason why its 'really stupid' or 'pointless' but lets hear it

i dont think voip is solution (hardcoded )
but maybe an common rose function would be verry cool !..
you can alert troops nearby asswel
and scout choppers are gonna get an bigger role

yea ino wat u mean. would be difficult to make the voip sound right as well, they would have to add an echo effect to make it sound like a loud speaker. civillians should also get them, to taunt brits in the vehicle checkpoint lol

Sounds like a good idea, would also add to the atmosphere. If not with warcrys atleast with a new voice.

Problem woul dbe to do the voice though.

i can see ways in which people could get annoying..eg playing music over the loud speaker whilst driving around ehehhe. there could be a limit to how many times you can use it in a minute or sumthin?

I'm more into rock music. Those guys will get crazy all over their ears when they hear that one. But then they wouldn't surrender. Hmm. It's a dead end situation here. Are you feeling me dudes?

maybe on LB's or the Merline on Basra

we have a merlin, Maybe a new car with big speakers on it. The US did use 1. It was a hummer with HUGE speakers in the back of a repair truck looking hummer. Very cool.

Sounds cool, but it could get as annoying as hell:

- kids below 14 screaming and shattering glass and our ear drums
- premature fools babling on speaker
- Broadcasting annoying sounds like **** music and I bet you my car some kid is going to think it'd be funny to sound their flatulence on the speakers

I dont think that DEV's should waste their time on this

maybe use the mosques loud speakers. for propaganda.

ha ha yea, or have one on the british merlin so it could fly over the city yelling "dont worry, we have not abandoned you, we will not leave you behind!!" to stranded comrades

Bear in mind that the DEVs have stacks of thigns they need to do to improve the MOD, and tweak here and there. This is not including mapping, creating new vehicles, statics (yep all those destructible buildings weren't born in cabbage patches), game-mode tweaking, physics and a lot more.

We have global chat, so if you enjoy taunting the opposing side, there we go the good old PC keyboard

yea ino they got ther work cut out. but it aint just about tauting. it would add atmosphere, be used to order team mates around and other things. hopefully they'll consider my idea
