Planes radar

Would it be possible to give planes
an sort of large UAV sweep around them every second so it can act like a radar : )
Would great for maps with carriers 2.. : )

no i mean .. like an UAV,
but you can only see other planes in the air.. : )

I was reading about that on the bf2editor forums, and it seems that it's impossible to keep the uav from displaying everything.

Not so sure about that, i seem to remember the mobile AAA displaying air targets only, (feel free to correct me on this).
I would quite like to see a fixed radar emplacement that tracked air targets (ONLY), at the base, or as an expensive ticket deployable. With an improved lethality AAM this would be tactically interesting.

UAV scan is hard coded and can only mark EVERY enemy unit and not just specifics. This has also been suggested multiple times before.
