when i play on ranked servers on PR i get points and evrything but i never rank on bfhq and i have sen on the stats page that i only have played once on a ranked PR server but i real i have played 10-20 times . So i hope some of you can help me. And how do i get unlocks.

PR ranking is not compatible with the official one, therefore, the stats shown in BFHQ won't be affected by playing PR.

You will get better technical answers from the devs..but really quickly...

There are NO RANKED servers. Some servers use what is called ABR (alt. battlefield ranking). It uses the EA BF2 code and allows you to get points and ranks.

There are NO UNLOCKS in PR.

My rank keeps resetting itself, but since it doesn't really affect anything, and I don't get any new cool guns from it, then I've ceased to care about it since making the move to a superior game.

There's no unlocks in PR.

If you want a cool gun, then go and knife the idiot sniper on the other team or shoot an enemy and pick up their rifle...

Some use ranking systems other than ABR i think.

Welcome to Project Reality and the forums. Please take 5 minutes to read the GUIDE section above. To answer your questions: there are no unlocks as mentioned, and rank is not important for any reason other than to increase the size of your e-penis.
However, if you'd still like your PR experience to be reflected by your rank, play on servers with "ABR" in their name. Google "Alternative Battlefield Ranking", you will find an ABR Tool which you must download and install. Then you can start PR right from the tool as it shows you a list of ABR-compatible PR servers.

In Europe I can recommend iGi and Thors Brigade, in the States there's always Tactical Gamer.

Unless you're applying for Commander, in which case the temporary 'rank' does seem to count.

Tactical Gamer is a great server, but why do they lock it down to password a lot?

the Europlay server or whatever is good too.
