3th skin by me , i chang the skin of the mig29 witha more "desert" cheme





i thing that im gonna reskin all the MEC vehicles with a mor desert camo .

thanks to Pride for the help , and AIX for the inspiration of the MEC logo

in the air, it doesnt really matter what colour it is.. why ? because at long distances your not gonna see the colour.. however when the aircraft's are grounded it could be a harder target.. atleast IRL

thats the idea , brown above to make it hared to see from above , and blue in the botton to make it harder to see from the ground

which is actually irrelevant cause if there a jet flying with 1000 kmh above you , you wont be able to do anything aginst it....even if you can see him 1 sec earlier...and AA vehicles dont look out for fighterjets with binoculars....they nowadays have some better ways of finding them nowadays
but i like the skin.... although most of the fighter-jets are simply grey...im missing that

I think it is mostly for viewing purposes only but dont get me wrong its sure does look way cooler than the original skin. Since the MIG flies so fast i dont think you get to really see the colours and maybe its sound will give it away. Unless you're talking pretty far range than maybe the camo might help since they cant hear you.

new camo , baybe the desert one can be used for a bomber version

It's actually to make them harder to distinguish via satalites, UAV's and so on. So if parked out at a run way on the sand it will be harder too distinguish. The reason most nato jets are grey is because they operate out of airbases which generally are fully cemented meaning a jet with desert/ect Camo would stand out whilst Grey does not

grey is used for air superiority (dogfights)

brow/camo is used for attacking ground units,cas ,etc .

i like the grey version very much....gj

I like the brown one more. The grey one makes it look like an F-15. Not sure if you guys see it this way.

The F15 is actually a odd Blue-Grey instead of normal Low Vis Grey

for the MiG i liked the Sand brown one the most.

sicarrio, I need all jets (MiG 29, and both Su's) reskinned to Russian camo. It would be cool if you could do that. When you have something to show, just post a WIP thread in the Russian Project forums.
