Multi-Day Campaigns

Anyone remember back in the days of BF1942 where maps would often have Day 1, Day 2 and even Day 3s. almost like giving a map a storyline. A map that is divided up into several parts can really bring out the most in a map.
now to demonstrate how something like this would work, i bring you basrah int. airport. a 3-part scenario map.
Day 1
UK vs. MEC
British paratroopers drop into multiple areas around basrah int. airport in the dead of night. both sides are equipped with NVGs and the MEC has light armor and other vehicles. the british must infiltrate the airport and the area around it. lastly the british must destroy the MEC operating center on the southeastern corner of the airport.

Day 2
UK vs. INSG
during the night, 3 C-130s landed at basrah int. bringing light vehicles, APCs, engineers, and royal marines. the engineers worked furiously during the night to fortify the airport, and prepare a Vehicle check point around a gas station.
throughout the morning engineers took RPG and small arms fire from the fields and small village.
the royal marines, equipped with landrovers and warrior IFVs must patrol the area around the airport and destroy all weapon caches before they sustain any more losses.
The insurgents must defend their caches whilest initiating small skirmishes inside the airport and must ultimately eliminate the fuel depot on the northwestern end to slow british reinforcements.

Day 3
UK vs. INSG
A C-130 carrying a high ranking british commander was shot down by Insurgents as it was banking to make another attempt towards the runway.
Local insurgents in the farm area have rushed to secure the crash site. others took up defensive positions in the mosque and bombed out villige that was destroyed by several cruise missiles that were intended for the MEC command outpost. while other insurgents attacked the VCP to slow down recovery teams.
The british must escort the commanders landrover out of the twisted metal carcass of the C-130 and back to the airports safe zone. without losing control of the VCP.

not so much a suggestion for this map in particular, but anything that can give a map an in-depth story or something.
thanks!
