The USI update has some VERY cool stuff, in my mind the laser designation is the best (since *edit-dice* were gonna put it in- see the original teaser vids)

Will any of this make its way over to PR or will they keep it a separate entity as much as possible?

you cant just pick and choose stuff in black sands, alot of negotiation comes into play when different teams want certain stuff, and IIRC the groups don't just swap models they sometime pool resources to help code or provide animations or skins and such.

EA provide "assistance" alot of the time, and lay down guidelines on how any games published by them should be developed.

And yes, we do know DICE made BF2 and the Barbie games, but you know what? EA up and bought DICE not too long ago.

There is still, for now at least though a distinction between DICE and EA. Some dev houses were simply folded in under the EA banner and have pretty much no outward identification anymore...

watched the vid.. yea really nice stuff in there! the hind footage is awesome - looking like very mean beasts! also, the laser designator looks like a funny toy.

very good work all in all and it looks like they've created a unique mod including enough changes to get rid of nilla!

Only thing, they need to improve, is the running speeds, more stamina, slower running/walking, like PR
Only thing, I found vBF2ish, when I saw a guy jumping 2 m high in the air...
And field dressings, since you seem to get shot quite easily

yea they did a good job on the sounds judging from the vid. they seem to have a top notch sound artist as well..

i like the end where the missiles fly by. nice one!

Their <16n seems to sound weird tho but im still going to download it.

In one part of the vid, they capture a flag in about 5 seconds
I dont like that.

EA owns all of DICE now and forced them to rush the game out the door before.
