What Communication Do You Use?

Just wondering what the majority use for communication?
I don't really use the VOIP or Roger Wilco as the misses is always watching Eastenders in background or I get dad dad you sound like action man or dad dad you sound like a muppet!
I have always thought the mic is a better way as it can save you from getting caught with your pants down (shot while typing)
But, for me it just isn’t gonna happen, so I have to use a combo of game speech & type
What do you favour / use?

Teamspeak for inter-squad chat
Ingame voice for squad chat
Typed words are too distracting and get ya killed. Most of it is non essential, making vital text difficult to relay through the white noise.

In order of frequency/length of use:
- In-game VOIP - Squad and CO communication.
- TeamSpeak - Other squad/ fireteam/ armour/ air communication
- In-game chat - Same as TeamSpeak + jkes, jkes and more jkes!
I am quite happy to type because i spent my first year of PR typing, shooting and typing! I had not a mike.

Mostly mic, and often TS when I get together with some other tournament people. Sometimes typing when I need to let another squad know something, and the in-game voice thingies when I need a medic or something.

So have you bound Teamspeak to a different key from the squad/comm chat then?

Number of voice communication channels for me:
1) Squad in-game VOIP - USED MOST!
2) Commander VOIP - USED LEAST!
3) 1 TeamSpeak Channel - MIDDLE USAGE (less than Squad VOIP but more than CO VOIP)
Therefore the key bound to squad VOIP should be the easiest to reach, TS less so and CO less so.
Personal i have found the below combination to fit the above requirement:
"C" button - Squad VOIP
"V" button - TS
"B" button - CO VOIP
I can thoroughly recommend this combination to all those persons using both in-game VOIP and any other external voice communication program.

I use mostly TS, as it has the posibility to be set as voice activated, and I use ingame VOIP as much as possible. Sometimes I use the (team) chat if there is no commander.

Works well for me. Especially as I can switch keysets depending on the game.

It would not and that is why i do not use a keyboard designed for hopelessly incompetent fools incapable of navigating a keyboard unless each key is ludicrously shaped and its function is printed in BOLD across it! ;)
Total jkes Red, i just prefer my old school keyboard, lots of small keys close together just give you lots of options and that is something you really need in PR!

My movement config is set up to the Number pad, so I have my coms config'd to the set of keys - Home/End/Delete/PageUp/PageDown/Insert

Is that a z-board layout?? Anyway, I use Squad VOIP alot. My TS is on voice activation so it can get really confusing if not everyone on the squad is on TS. I find myself getting a headache talking on TS and VOIP and even SL to COMMANDER VOIP (if I am SL). So for the most part when playing PR I would rather just use VOIP and mute my TS.

nvr used a Z does any1?
I guess that’s another 1... which method do you use to command your squad, move pointers, voip, coordinates etc
I'm thinking I am going to have to build another room in my house just to use voip
