So what was changed? I played a bit and noticed only a few things.

1) No more Saxon!
2) Another Warrior :|
3) Another bike for insurgents.
4) Merlin Lag Bug still there :|

So was it a change in how many intel points you get for things, or what?

Wasn't Al Basrah supposed to have an WAH-64 Apache? Kashan has a WAH-64, I doubt the Americans would have a British helicopter...

It had it in the beta, wasn't in the full version due to a bug, but it has been decided that it will not be in it in the end, probably because it's overpowered.

Yeah, that map becomes way too easy for the British if they can S&D ammo dumps with an AH. Especially with limited RPGs for insurgents.

Saxon is still in Basrah isn't it?

EDIT: nvm, just noticed the new .61 patch is out.

It must be a mistake on the front page then, the American Military don't use the WAH-64.

WAH-64 is a british version of american AH-64D... so where's the problem?

^^ What he said, stop being so picky. I reckon they should have tanks but apache not being there is understandable.
Fact is they fixed the major bugs which is what matters and we can at last have a proper game of insurgency then no doubt it will updated later on, etc

The WAH-64 is produced by Westland with better engines and other differences. But yea, I guess I am being too exact and picky.

Another Warrior, yes, but for every heavy asset destroyed, the British lose 10 tickets.

No,
the Warrior spawn was only moved from VCP to airport and still dosen't respawn.

Good, people are allways too careless and act like they are indestructible and its no problem if they arent, all it takes in most cases is a bit of effort to park behind some scenery for protection

the markers on the map, where a cache is, approximately, should now dissapeare when the chache is destroyed, like intendet.

Changes to Insurgency:

- The map start with an objective revealed so the british have something to look for and the insurgents have something to defend instead of rushing the VCP.

- The map icons are fixed.

- Killing civilians will give you -7 intel points instead of -3.

- Arresting ANY insurgent (with the knife) will give you 7 intel points.

- Insurgent officer can be requested at weapon caches.

- Pickup kits have new respawn times depending on the kit type (RPGs = 90s, SVDs = 180s, Mosin and AA = 300s, PKM = 20s).

This and Al Basrah vehicles and pickups kits were updated.

The Insurgency Gamemode has been overhauled. Not only the map... vehicles and stuff are map related, not gamemode related.

That was before the patch.

Everyone needs to stop the "wtfsauce americans don't use british apaches". We know that but we also know that there are currently no british maps where the Apache would fit in so we put it on Kashan implying that British Apaches are supporting US forces....

Check this out!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westland_WAH-64_Apache

Read the first sentence and treat this helicopter as an american. From the outside AH-64D and WAH-64 looks almost the same, so stop being so annoying about it.

Good work guys with the PR v0.61 patch

the Apache is US made and the US army uses it at momments during war. So why not place it there. Also its a pretty even fight for Havok so it does not always die to the Cobra.
