can someone please post the shortcut that starts up Pr i deleted my desktop shortcut by misstake.

1. copy the bf2 one and paste it on the desktop
2. change the target to (right click and chose properties): "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 (+szx 1680 +szy 1050 add this part if you have wide screen and change the resolution to yours)
3. right click, choose properties, and then choose Change icon (direct it to the pr one in the pr folder)

Add +restart to the end of the Target field text in your shortcut to bypass the intro vids. I read that you can rename the vid files (.bik I believe..?) to disable the menu vids, although I haven't done this myself.

same as 1942 yeah, it was only this thread that made me remember you could do it, can anyone clarify the .bik
by the way, thx forge

rename all the video files in the mod of your choice from .bik to .backup.

There's also ways of having it so it automatically logs you in and stuff but can't remember how it's done.

needed to change the all the BF2 .bik's aswell to get rid of the original menu vid, now its just grey thx again

here ya go:

+playerName (account name here) +playerPassword (password here)

without the ( )

You know, rather than changing all the video file extensions, you can simply change the name of the folder, works equally well for a lot less effort.
