In most helis such as the Black Hawk,Merlin and the Apache have a flare bug. It will deploy flares continually. Deploies then reloads then deploies and reloads etc for about the first 50-100 tickets then it stops.

yes. i also had this problem wen flying the apache

i had this happen with a apc it just kept putting out smoke

never happened to me but LOL to the farting APC.

Maybe for some reason, the key appears jammed down for the game or the system. Have you tried pressing the smoke/flare key while it was happening?

Solved the prob for me. Just press (or hold) X while you're having this bug and it should disapear.

I'm also having this bug with Xfire (as I have X+numlock as short-cut for ingame menu), pressing X again helps at all times.

it only happens when some guy leaves server and he had justed poped smoke and then my APC keeps farting but mostly becasue i was holding the buton down.

yeah, looks like it's something like that... like clicking to throw a grenade, getting shot, revived, and when you switch to the grenade it throws it right away without you clicking anything and probably killing all of your squad
