Green SL smoke is underused

I did a search, but couldn't find anything that was related to this.. If this has been suggested before, please remove this thread.

As much as I love the green SL smoke, it's hardly ever used. There are some adjustments that can be made to this, if you ask me. First of all it should be a lot thicker. This transparent-green smoke is hardly noticible at times (also depends what map you're using it on). Thickening the smoke (almost as thick as the pilot-smoke) would be a good improvement. With thickening I *don't* mean that it should act like the pilot-smoke (!).
The green smoke is intended for pickups, but I've never ever seen anyone use it for that purpose. I almost never see it used either. I throw it once in a while, 'cause I think it looks cool, but that's about it...
I suggest to remove the "requesting a pickup" talk, since one might want to use it for different purposes.
What can we improve about the smoke grenade to make it a more valuable 'asset' of PR?
Above all: how is this thing used in real combat situations? We should of course stick with reality, not some coolness factor.
