[Question] Which editing programs do you use?

Which program do you guys use when modelling and texturing and and sound editing i dont remember which program that is used when your converting a wav file to pcm which program is it? any recommendation's would be helpful
I have also downloaded a free trial of 3d max 9 and thereafter i have downloaded gmax 1,2 is this right please help me

Gmax is the free, watered-down version of 3ds max. Both can be used side-by-side. Personally, I use 3ds max 9 for modelling.
Texturing is done in Photoshop/3ds max, methinks. As for sound, I don't know.

How do you texture in photoshop i have been doing photoshop for 4 years and i have heard rumours that it is possible too texture in photoshop but the only thing i have maid is pattern is that textures?

you also need the DDS plugin from Nvidea for Photoshop and yes you can texture whit photoshop yea texnaly is a patern also a textue but to texture a model you got to model it

unwrap it export the unwrap to Jpeg open whit a texture program ( photoshop will do the trick

) texture it save the texture's @ youre model export file *** DDS then you need to put the texture on youre model make a hierarcy and export youre model

thank you for the significant description on how to make a texture in photoshop but now about the sound editing that is the one that is most important one!

Yea, you actually are better off not using Audacity, it can't do sound loops. I'm using sound forge now.

I reccommend goldwave for recordings off youtube and the sort....

For skinning i actually use a free program called Paint. NET lol
