so many people say the Al Basrah from PR v0.6 is worst than basrah from PR 0.5 i think this is true.

AL Basrah 0.5 have wery good balanced gamplay 0.6 is not interestin more, yes is more realistick but gamplay is not good

i wont old Al Basrah v0.5

New maps will come, and they will be even better then Al Basrah, so take it easy.

A more fitting title would be "I found Al Basrah .5 to be better than the current version". Sadly enough, this is not the opinion of the majority. The current version is cool because it's not the same as the other maps, with the Insurgency mode making it play completely different. However, I don't see any harm in letting people discuss what they feel about this map.

IMHO ( if that counts for anything ) i think 0.6 basrah is waaaaaaaaaaaaay better, you just have to get used to 2 VERY different play styles, how the devs managed the balance on this one is beyond me but it works extremely well.

Whats you problem with it? lemmeh guess.., no A-10 and no attack chopper?


Yes from 0.5 to 0.6 its very different but it makes for really interesting games rather than just having to deal with chopper/plane spam all the time like it was in 0.5.

The problem is that the definition of "good gameplay" is different for different people.

maybe DEV include old Al Basrah 0.5 in future PR so i think this the very good for many players back to old good Basrah 0.5 with USMC VS Insurgents this is be sweet 2 - diferent Basrah for US and UK i think is verry god plan

new version of basrah is much better. if you like the old version soo much, download .5 again, take out the old basrah, audit it with my tut and put it in a map pack.

i love the idea of not cahisng down flags that have to be capped ! all you have to chase is ammo cashes.

Nah Al basrah 0.5 is more unrealistic than Albasrah 0.6 .. but still needs improving

I cant help but think some people still prefer the us to the brits ..i thought some would have got over it by now

0.6 Al Basrah is more something like a beta map for insurgency i think.
So it needs some improvement!

is that ur definition of good gameplay iceman ? A-10s raping insurgents , running from flag to flag , cobras raping insurgents , and sniping with m95 ? now its more even , and realistic .. = 100% better.

i just think ppl are to use to US dominated games.

Seems like some of PR-players find :

A10 raping, RPG-spam, and as one mentioned, sniping with big bad m95 = good gameplay, well..

0.6 Basrah is in my definition one of the best maps. We can se lot of European PR players on the Texas(?) based server.

New > Old, simple as that. If you don't like the new Basrah, then get used to it or don't even play it at all. There are different maps other than Basrah...

I like the current map but Conquest USMC vs Insurgents would be better.

We just need another good USMC/U.S: Army vs. Insurgents map, since Desert Storm is shite, tbh

AMEN! I honestly cant wait to see another US vs Insurgent map thats balanced for the most part

0.6 in my mind is alot better because the battle is all over not just at facilty.
