Is there any way to disable the lock on while still having the appropriate targets highlighted on the HUD? going through the oilfields on Kashan is very...shrill.

Yeah, I know what you mean... That beeping lock on noise just keeps going through you ears even when it has stopped.

seriously though, this would be handy and I hope it can be introduced.

And pls introduce it also to the attack choppers

Disabling the radar on AA would be really neat, as you could use your AA guns against choppers and jets without them knowing them, they're under fire

would be great to see a pasive radar mode , were you can see litle boxes showing where are the planes/choppers , left click will fire the guns from the left , and right click will fire the guns fron the right (to make the AA a litle more realistic in rof , 1800x2= 3600rpm ) .

Passive radar only works if the target has its radar switched on. Always making it passive would be more appropriate for IR type missiles.

I would also want to be able to disable that AA radar in chopters coz now its impossible to sneak up on another chopter..
