i was lookin movies of ArmA and i found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXOYJ7MiBBQ[/youtube]
as you can see on 1 minute i think ,, you see tanks and bullets with light flying to the hill tops
[Edit: NOT THE FLARES ]

Illumination rounds / parachute flares have been suggested before.

I think he means the little light spot moving on the ground under the round. Not the red flare.

Yes..
The light spot on the ground!
If you see an tank firing or what else you see light above the ground ,, all the way to the target , and than boom,, than its dark

Not sure if dunamic lights are possible in that way!
Any way it would take a lot of FPS so no option for me!

I believe those are ordinary tracer rounds. Except that in ArmA they actually give off glow that can be seen on surfaces at night.

Map was created in 27 minutes?
What, they just tick off some stuff and it auto-generates a whole city ?

I think he meant mission. That's what you do with the ArmA built in editor - you add units and tell them what to do, but you don't exactly edit the terrain.

Arma's editor's good, I've made some superb battle missions with no objectives, just hell everywhere. Tho I haven't found a way yet of editing it properly to put smmo boxes on buildings etc.
On topic, I think it'd take too much in the way of resources for very minimal gain.
