Armour aiming

Post by myself-44 »

I just installed the new fresh version of PR and gave a try in a armored squad.
The thing I find annoying is when you zoom in (especially 2x) with tank or APC.. the crosshair become totally uncontrollable.
When unzoomed I can aim easily, but when Im zoomed in, it's becomes so sensitive that I can even put my the crosshair on a big house... is there a way to keep the same level of precision and sensitivity when zoomed and unzoomed. I mean, in real life it is precise even when you're zooming in :)

And also, sometimes my apc begins to bounce around ... it seems like to begin dancing and going crazy... similar to the bug in vanilla when a vehicle is stuck between two

Happens when someone spawns in it. And it is VERY annoying! :-P

Try lowering your mouse DPI while zoomed.

Gee, where have I seen that before? Oh! On TBF2 forums when a member of staff from here answered the very same question, with the exact same answer, lol!

You could do all that or you could buy a 5 speed mouse if you have the money.

Yeah, adjustable DPI mouse is the answer. I dont have one so i go for a medium, infantry on x3 zoom are ******** to hit unless running at me, but other than that i don't struggle.

Its not that hard really.. Just spray in the general direction and you'll hit sooner or later :)

Also remember to make sure your tank or APC is on the flat, if they start to roll a little your aiming will be effected.

A button for sensitive aiming would be great and I think it could be also very useful for infantry weapons.

If you are going to play games like PR you do need a gaming mouse. The zoom doesn't bother me at all.

Take this mouse for example.

This is my mouse i have had it a year. It is only £15 you can change the sensitivity on the fly and it has a handy 3 round burst button that i use on automatic weapons for accurate but rapid fire.

thanks CADET

P.S finally got a new pc ^.^

changing DPI from 1600 to 400 doesn't really help me when aiming at maximum zoom, if the driver isn't 100% stopped then it will move to much for an accurate shot.
