okay, see this is why guys, when people download pr, it should PROMPT them to READ THE MANUAL

aka RTFM

this has been discussed before, and NO ONE has taken it seriously

obviously, new people to the game are having trouble with it. sure, they like it, but there is an *** of a learning curve that we all know is easily solved with RTFM

so MAKE THEM RTFM

plz?

Last time I told a new guy to RTFM I got a 30% warn for it.

The answer to all of your questions can be found in some way here: http://guide.realitymod.com/

So read it if you want.

It is the way you tell noobs and newbs to rtfm. There are polite and informative ways and there are the ways that will lead you to a 30% warning level. ;)
There is nothing wrong with pointing to the manual and say "please read this guide and if you still have questions feel free to ask"

Back when i used unix, RTFM used to mean "read the fine manuals" not the derogatory meaning it seems to have adopted now.
:P

have a look at the wiki, and in game join a squad that is using voip. let your SL know your new, i think most will be more than happy to help you out. stick close to the sl and listen to what he tells you to do. solo dosn't work well in PR.

welcome to PR!!

No, it's sort of a inside joke here. We tell people to read a manual, but there isn't actually one. The icons you get when you install PR are fake too.

Stop using 'babytalk' ie using 'dat' instead of 'that', and do not use dumb looking 'textspeak' ie '2' instead of 'too', 'u' instead of 'you'.

Try and use correct grammar and punctuation.

I, for one, would be more inclined to help if you didn't portray yourself as an illiterate 10 year old.

Well, if you read what he said, understood it, and replied to his post, then there is no problem is there?

The video posted might just have been the funniest thing I have ever seen. I can't remember when I last laughed that hard, I had to take pauses since my stomach hurt so bad.

Perhaps if people didn't patronise others who talk in this manner, then they would be more likely to talk in a similar fashion. If they see the benefits of talking in a more educated manner they might decide to do so however.

I think he articulated himself well enough enough in his actual post despite all the ...s however did you even consider that English may not be his native tongue? Or perhaps he's not old enough to be as well spoken as you seem to be implying you are. You do realise how level things such as children's entertainment are on an intelectual level nowadays, and the effect it has on children's vocabulary amongst other things?

Give the guy a fuckin break.

On topic the best piece of advice I can give is to slow your game down as much as possible, and think as many small details through as possible. Another good thing to remember is when your not suppressing anyone, don't try and shoot people your not certain you can kill. Even then weigh up whether it's a good idea to kill them in the first place, or to try and achieve something more important then getting yourself a kill. Oh and don't let ***** like that give you a hard time over how you talk if their doing nothing more then being, for lack of a better way of saying it, fuckin rude.
