Hmm, I don't know, how this PoE2/PR tournament will work...

Our sixth campaign was POE/DCon which didn't work out so well. We have been testing some configs for PR over the last two weeks. These configs include:

Conquest mode
Attrition penalties removed
Larger Rally Point radius
Lower squad limit for requesting kits
Time adjustments/removed to use ticket counts

There will be other test weekend so please feel free to join in & help.

I thought, modding PR isn't allowed due the server license?

if its on a closed passworded server then its ok.

I think it's allowed on passworded servers e.g. tournaments where no public players join by accident.

How about the TV2 public servers? they run without the dome of death on uncappables .., i take it thats ok?

Well they did on their 24/7 insurgency last time i went on a few wks ago. Dunno if they still do though i have ping and lag issues with those servs for some reason, must be my isp peering.

What da Hell's dis?!? What a wild idea man. But those other guys certainly wouldn't stand a chance if they didn't have to dumb PR down a bunch.

Man I'd love to do a PR/DCon tourney. that would be a great way to stretch our capabilities...but POE IMO, is way too much like vBF2'oob. It certainly would irritate the **** outta me to have to play it.

I know for a fact it was the 24/7 insurgency as i was playing insurgent ( well ambusher ) and i was inside the airport laying mines and c4. Mustve been like 3 or 4 wks ago maybe a little longer. Besides there were also server messages saying base attack Is allowed.

hi guys.....

TV2 allows base raping on all BF2 servers, PR is no exception.

The server message say "All bases are open for attack" or something like that....
